Charlotte, N.C.  - March 8, 2007 - Cirque du Soleil's DELIRIUM, returns to Charlotte's Bobcats Arena with a live performance on ABC's Good Morning America on March 22. Doors will open at 6:30 am.

The nationally televised segment will feature an acrobatic appearance by Good Morning America correspondent Marysol Castro in the trapeze sequence "Desejo."

The first 5000 people to arrive at the arena will be admitted, and are encouraged to donate art supplies to benefit the Speedway Children's Charities.  Speedway Children's Charities provides funds to organizations that meet the direct needs of children. From mentoring programs to camps for special needs children, Speedway Children's Charities best affect children's lives by supporting organizations that work tirelessly to see that children's needs are met and that no child is left behind regardless of illness, social environment, or disability.

Their priority is improving the quality of life for children in need, and this mission has remained the same throughout their 26-year history. Through donations, sponsorships and fundraising events, Speedway Children's Charities distributes funds directly to qualified nonprofit organizations that provide medical, educational and social services to children. In 2006, we awarded more than $2.8 million to over 470 organizations.

The GMA performance marks one of many milestones for the successful tour, which to date has in more than 70 U.S. cities, won a Billboard Creative Content Award, and landed in the Top 5 box-office grossing concerts for 2006 in North America.

DELIRIUM will perform at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21 and Thursday, March 22 at Bobcats Arena.  For tickets, visit the Charlotte Bobcats Arena Box Office, call 800-495-2295 or visit

Created and directed by Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon, DELIRIUM is a multifaceted event of unprecedented proportion, featuring Cirque du Soleil music remixed. Driven by an urban tribal beat and awe-inspiring visuals, musicians, singers and dancers transform the arena into joyous frenzy.
