Speedway Children's Charities, Nextel Vision Team Up to "Support Our Troops"

Concord, N.C. (May 26, 2006) - Speedway Children's Charities (SCC) will launch its "Support Our Troops" campaign this weekend during Coca Cola 600 festivities, with patriotic messages to be displayed on NEXTEL Vision screens all around Lowe's Motor Speedway.
SCC is teaming up with Sprint Nextel and DriverCAST to provide fans with the opportunity to support United States troops around the world, while also giving them the ability to donate to the children of military families. Fans can send a patriotic text message to 31233, which will appear trackside on NEXTEL Vision screens during pre-race activities on Sunday at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Fans also will be given the opportunity to make a financial pledge to support the children of our fallen soldiers by going to www.DriverCAST.com via a text message returned to their handset.

Sadler, USAF (ret.), executive director of Speedway Children's Charities. "This Memorial Day weekend, Americans will have the great privilege to show their support of our armed forces and ease the financial burdens left to these military families by sending their patriotic messages to 31233."
